...suit pants! The Maid of Might gets a new suit, and faces off against the one man that threatens her entire legacy, as a multiverse faces an infinite crisis in "Supergirl – The Complete Fifth Season," available now on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital, with a Limited Edition Bonus Disc that includes all five crossover episodes of the epic "Crisis on Infinite Earths" event and exclusive bonus content! The four-disc package includes all 19 Season Five episodes, including the landmark celebratory 100th episode in the show's run.

Melissa Benoist stars as Kara Danvers, mild-mannered ace reporter at CatCo Worldwide Media and, secretly, the world's most ardent defender of truth and justice, Supergirl. After fending off a campaign of fear and xenophobia last season, Supergirl found herself face to face with her cousin, Superman, while his arch enemy Lex Luthor (recurring guest star Jon Cryer) turned Kara's best friend Lena (series regular Katie McGrath) – who also happens to be Luthor's sister – against her by revealing to her that Kara and Supergirl are one and the same.

As the fifth season opens, Kara is torn over having kept the secret from Lena, unaware of the repercussions of that decision. Lena, who now feels betrayed, is determined to take her brother's place as the world's most nefarious intellect. When an unexpected alien visitor – J'onn J'onzz (David Harewood) – drops into National City, a new threat – an underground organization that calls itself Leviathan – is sets a series of events in motion in a bid to dominate the world.

The show's fifth season is full of milestones, including the 100th episode of the show's run, which features the return of the mischievous Mxyzptik in a story that could only be called "It's a Super Life" (a nod to Frank Capra's timeless classic). The season also sees the return of fan favorite Winn Schott (one-time regular Jeremy Jordan), and a World's Finest team up with Batwoman (guest star Ruby Rose), as all the heroes in the DC TV multiverse unite to stop the evil Anti-Monitor from reshaping the universe in his own image.

The Blu-ray package includes all 19 episodes of the Season 5, which was cut short after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic forced all productions to take a pause. Special features include deleted scenes, a gag reel, and "The Best of DC TV's Comic-Con Panels," featuring the cast's appearance at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. With "Arrow" having hung up its super heroics after its eighth and final season, "Supergirl" – along with "The Flash," starring Grant Gustin – is now the torchbearer of the "Arrowverse," with new episodes set to return in 2021.

This is a great opportunity to get caught up with "Supergirl – The Complete Fifth Season," as the action and adventure get ramped up and the show continues to provide the most diverse group of superheroes in primetime, with the first transgender super heroine Dreamer (played by transgender actress, Nicole Maines, who joined the cast in Season Four). The series also stars Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Kara's sister, and also features occasional guest appearance from Superman and Lois Lane. "Supergirl" continues to provide powerfully emotional heroics!
