Arrow - The Complete Seventh Season
JC Alvarez READ TIME: 3 MIN.
Star City has failed the Green Arrow!
It's been a tough year for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), and before the final season of the long-running hit returns, "Arrow: The Complete Seventh Season," available now on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital, is your opportunity to get caught up on the most dramatic story arc of the Emerald Archer, Green Arrow's tenure as Star City's ardent defender. Picking up right where Season Six ended, Oliver has hung up his arsenal and given himself over to the proper authorities. He is now Inmate 4587.
Incarcerated in one of the country's most dangerous prisons, Oliver has to keep his head down while avoiding the threats insides Slabside Maximum Security Prison, where many of the inmates have a bone to pick with him now that his identity as the vigilante Green Arrow has been publicly revealed. Everyone is gunning for him. Meantime, his allies on the outside are fending off dangers of their own. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey) are also in the crosshairs of a new group of assassins, as the Long Bow Hunters set in motion their vendetta.
The centerpiece of the season has become the annual crossover event that brings the casts of the additional "Arrowverse" shows together for one larger narrative. This year did not disappoint, with one of the most ambitious efforts ever undertaken by a primetime series, even for one of an interlocking nature like the DC shows on The CW. When Oliver wakes up in Central City, he realizes he's switched bodies and identities with his best friend Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), as well as assumed his powers over the Speed Force. Only Oliver and Barry know who they really are.
With little hope of solving this mystery, it isn't long before the pair enlist the help of Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and embark and a lead that takes them to Gotham City and garners the attention of a certain caped crusader. The fate of the multiverse is hanging in the balance! The trinity of heroes learn from a visitor from an alternate Earth, The Flash of Earth-90 (John Wesley Shipp), that there is a bigger "crisis" on the horizon – and with the help of their allies, including Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), they must set things right and escape the events of the "Elseworlds."
"Arrow: The Complete Seventh Season" captures all of the spirit and adventure of the fan-favorite DC Comics character, and has built on a legacy of an expanded universe of televised episodes that have enticed the imaginations of fans for generations. Oliver Queen's mission as Star City's Emerald Archer is coming to an end on the next season premiering in the fall, and now with this complete set you can get caught up just in time – before the coming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover, which preludes in its entirety on the Blu-ray discs.
The 4-disc Blu-ray features all 22 episodes of the thrilling Seventh Season, and the Blu-ray also includes the two full episodes of the epic annual crossover event "Elseworlds" featuring "The Flash" and "Supergirl," giving the audience opportunity to enjoy the full story!
Additional bonus Specia Features include Deleted Scenes and the fan-favorite Gag Reel, along with a full-length look at the crossover event from the series show-runners and an in-depth look at the super-villains of the "Arrowverse."
Special Features include the "Villains: Modes of Persuasion" featurette and "The Best of DC TV's Comic-Con Panels" from San Diego Comic Con 2018. Plus a Gag Reel and Deleted Scenes
