Shameless - The Complete Seventh Season

Showtime's number one series, based on the long-running, award-winning British original, "Shameless - The Complete Seventh Season" is now available on Blu-ray, with 12 highly-entertaining episodes and a slew of bonus content.

Frank Gallagher (Academy Award-nominated William H. Macy), the loathsome patriarch of South Side Chicago's most notorious low-to-no income family, persists no matter what forces try to abolish him. He's like rats in the subway or herpes. Now he's back from the dead (well almost; he was in a month-long coma). And the people that tried to kill him off this time were his own clever offspring.

Fiona (Emmy Rossum) made her way to the position of manager at Patsy's Pies, which doesn't leave her with the time to inoculate her family from her father. But chip-off-the-old-block Lip (Jeremy Allen White) has the time and the talent. He's just as his adept as his dad at managing his alcoholism.

Teenage mom Debbie (Emma Kenney) and her new baby have picked up the entrepreneurial spirit. They've started a business swiping high-end baby strollers and selling them on Craigslist. And even though Ian (Cameron Monaghan) is content with his job (working alongside his hunky fireman boyfriend), he's not so happy with his relationship. It turns out Caleb (Jeff Pierre) is unfaithful - if you can call reunion sex with an old girlfriend cheating. Ian intends to find out, and the results are nauseating.

Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) decides to have a little cosmetic surgery - on his penis. The downside is he'll need to avoid getting an erection for 72 hours, a task that proves to be nearly impossible. Lucky for him, his brothers come to the rescue. Hey, if you can't count on your family to keep you from getting a boner, then who do you have?

Meanwhile, the neighbors Kevin (Steve Howey) and Veronica (Shanola Hampton) bring a third partner into their marriage -- the Russian sex worker Svetlana (Isidora Goreshter) -- and not just for the thrills in the bedroom. They need the help raising their own growing family. For them, sex never trumps pragmatism. And this leads them to their next business venture: A topless maid service that actually gets some cleaning done.

Even when they're at the bottom, the resourceful Gallagher family is in the position they need to be to worm their way back to the top.

Nearly every episode comes with additional unaired scenes, and there are two special features. "Growing Up Shameless" has Emma Kenney and Ethan Cutkosky recounting their experiences in this NSFW work environment, and "The Shameless Politics of Frank" answers a lot of important questions. If you're wondering why the country is in the state it is now; it's because we have voters like this guy.
